Fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join our busy Admin team.

Uppingham Surgery is seeking an Administrator to join our expanding team, supporting our busy training practice of 12,500 patients within our multidisciplinary team.

Hours

Up to 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. Candidates must be flexible to cover annual leave and absence as directed by the Management Team.

What we look for in your application:

  • Experience of a similar role using SystmOne
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent administrative skills; a proven record in Primary Care an advantage
  • Positive and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience of working in a team and using your own initiative
  • Ability to abide by strict confidentiality and information governance compliance and the responsibility this brings

What we expect from applicants:

  • Experience of delivering a patient centred recall system for long term conditions, contraceptive services, cervical screening and immunisations
  • Knowledge of Quality and Outcome Framework (QOF), Direct and Local Enhanced Services (DES and LES)
  • Accurate read-coding data on SystmOne into the patient record
  • Processing incoming correspondence
  • Identifying relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed actions
  • Integration with a multidisciplinary team including GPs, clinical pharmacists and practice nurses
  • Report building, data querying and analysis reports to ensure the safety and management of all patients.

Competitive pay dependent upon experience – c. £20,000 per annum pro-rata
